I began my journey working with prenatal and postnatal mums back in 2010 during my first pregnancy. Having worked both in the fitness industry for almost 10 years and as a lecturer on fitness courses for a local college, I was ready for a new challenge and I've never looked back.
MisFit Mamas was proudly launched following my second pregnancy in 2013 (with twins!) when I gave up my NHS job in weight management. Since then I have enhanced my skills and knowledge by undergoing additional training in diastasis recti (abdominal separation) and pelvic floor training and more to support you on a deeper level, working with other health professionals that can support you in your journey too.
I run pregnancy & postnatal Pilates and Buggy Fitness classes which aim to prepare you for a better birth, re-train your core muscles post birth, increase fitness safely and educate mums too.
I totally get the need to find your tribe especially once baby arrives so my classes also support new friendships.
